 SCOPE OF VOLUNTARY SERVICES 

 

1.    Crisis Relief

National and overseas disaster relief (includes natural disaster which leads to loss of lives and material possession that threaten the victims welfare both in materially and psychologically) and provide timely, appropriate relief and assistance.

 

2.    Social Service

CRSM is a set-up to professionally and systematically enhance MCA’s social work together build a caring and loving society that offers help to those in need. 

 

3.  Volunteer Training

Take initiatives to plan and design the services and modules needed by the public and provide targeted training schemes for volunteers of different ranks.

 

(a) Crisis period : 

To provide relevant manpower, material, medical, counseling and legal support by setting up a crisis response team for immediate crisis intervention in emergency or disaster

 

 

 

Service Area 

a)    National and overseas disaster relief (includes natural disaster which leads to loss of lives and material possession that threaten the victims welfare both in materially and psychologically)

b)    Emergency relief for victims of domestics and community crisis (includes family tragedies and social issues causing the victims into the  crisis of material shortage and psychosocial damage) 

c)     Emergency relief for the poor, disadvantage and needy

 

(b) Non Crisis Period

Non-crisis period is a period of nurturing potential volunteers. Thus, we ought to spontaneously strategize, plan and organize various relevant services and training suitable to the needs of society, as to boost recruitment drive, fund-raising and maintenance on the relief action team, in order to create a reserve of manpower and services to stand for any crisis.

 

a. Community Service

Strategize appropriate service to handle current issues of the society or community 

b. Community Caring

Provide relevant and timely assistance to the poor and disadvantaged in the society  

c. Volunteers Training

Organize common and professional training courses to equip volunteers for various backgrounds by enhancing their capability and knowledge in handling crisis
